My library (meaning the one I am a patron of, not the one I work for...yet!), PLCMC, a has a blog for gamers called The Gaming Zone. While not updated often, it does keep the gamers of the community connected with game reviews and advertises game nights and reports on library gaming events. It also has some good RSS links to library events, gaming items in the Charlotte Observer, and podcasts. I think this blog is a good way to serve a niche market in the library community, and to highlight library services and events.

Thanks for linking to the Gaming Zone. We need the hits. Hits are good.
Really like the concept of the public library having a gaming blog. It reaches out to a population that might otherwise not connect the library with their interests.
This is a cool way to keep the interest level up & provide a connection with the library in between gaming events.
I wish I knew who the authors were. Do the kids know who is "questing librarian" or is that a closely guarded secret?
It's not a secret. Her name is Christie and she works at the Independence branch.
My boys would LOVE a gaming blog - that would engage them in a heartbeat. Good find!
