I've had these sorts of kitchen disasters myself - still, years and years later, cleaning peach jam from the undersides of the cupboards. Great story, excellent choice for a podcast!
hot things can be tricky to blend. after having a smoothie disaster when I was a kid, I ALWAYS put a dish towel over the blender before I press the button.
Oh dear! That's terribly unfortunate, but it does make a great story for a podcast! Good job!
